We are happy to sponsor the HALTER’s Aiming High BALL4Good Camp during the summer of 2021. The Ball4Good grant will help HALTER strengthen its relationship with My Brother’s Keeper (MBK). Funds will provide scholarships for children in the 6th, 7th or 8th grades. The scholarship recipients will be identified by MBK and/or a McKinney-Vento school Social Worker.
HALTER and MBK Alliance will find ways to work together to actualize the shared belief that every young person deserves equal opportunity to achieve success and prosperity, regardless of circumstance.
The Aim High Ball4Good Camp activities will include discussions addressing inequity, social justice, promoting emotional intelligence and developing pro-social skills (SEL) in ways that are highly relevant to the participating youth.
Activities will focus on interpreting nonverbal behavior, good communication,
developing trust and respect.
