The Ball4Good Grants Committee has named 5 nonprofits to receive $1,000 grants from the Spring Grant Cycle.
The organizations are:

through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
Clemson University Tiger Alliance: Seeks to increase educational
opportunities and upward economic mobility for underrepresented youth in the Upstate of South Carolina.
Mental Fitness: Leads professional development training for school professionals and educators on relevant mental health topics such as suicide prevention, stress management and managing serious mental illness in schools.

South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind: A statewide leader in education and accessibility for individuals who are deaf, blind, or sensory multi-disabled.
The committee reviewed grant applications from late December through February. Schools were unable to vote on one beneficiary because of the pandemic. Therefore all five organizations will be receiving a minimum grant of $1,000.
The named organizations would have been finalists / beneficiary of the April Celebrity Basketball Games which was slated for April 19th, 2020. However, the games were cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In order to raise funds for the organizations and children impacted by the pandemic, a group of Ball4Good teenage volunteers, launched a GoFundMe on April 15th, 2020.
Ball4Good will continue with the GoFundMe fundraiser through May 2020. The goal of the organization is to raise additional funds to benefit children impacted by COVID-19.
